This picture was inspired from a dream I had. :)
Nanami, one of the protectors of the seas.

ugh, perspective and arms x_X I partly used one of [link] drawings as a ref, but still. Well, the whole picture was a great practice for me. I've never drawn a landscape or fish before. I also didn't use any textures on this one, the designs of her clothes for example are all made up :)

Ilaria Graziano with her song Dew (which is a beautiful and magical song in many ways) was also a great inspiration for me <3

I used a reference from one of the sketches from :iconpokefreak:^^

Done in Sai and cs5.

Great Picture, the effects are really well done, the spirit is beautiful, and though she inst a mermaid sheŽs one of the better water themed fantasy pics Ive seen on the site. I guess water is really tough to do well but you really pulled it off. Also IŽd like to put in a request for a mermaid.
