When painting, how many layers do you use?

- A different layer for almost everything
- Different layers that cover main aspects (clothes, skin, background, hair, etc.)
- No more then 5 layers
- One layer, though I paint on a separate layer, and when I'm finished with that I merge it onto the main layer
- I start out with many layers, then merge almost all (or all) of them together and continue with that
- Just one layer; more then enough!
